I absolutely love to live in the heart of Johannesburg, but if an opportunity comes along to travel to Cape Town I grab it with both hands. Such event arose in February when Wedding photographer, Christene Meintjes announced a workshop in Stellenbosch at Brenaissance Wine Estate. I have admired Christeneโs work for a long time now and not only her work but also her humble approach to life and running her business. I knew that I could benefit a lot by attending this workshop.I arrived at Brenaisance the afternoon before the workshop started and spent the night on the wine farm in Stellenbosh. The scenery is just out of this world and it was amazing to be quite and take it all in. The next morning we were warmly greeted with a very tasty cup of coffee and I was welcomed with smiles from fellow photographers. As a person with a business and financial background I am always blown away by how willing photographers are to share experiences and willing to help out each other. This industry is truly unique and I am so thank full to have become part of it.
The 2 days that we spent with Christene flew by in the blink of an eye, but I have gained knowledge that I will carry with me for a life time. Here are some shots I got from the beautiful styled shoot put together by Anneke from The Pretty Blog.
