I am a firm believer in life long learning and love to attend photography workshops regularly. Last month I had the privilege to attend a workshop hosted by the extremely talented Skillie and Tehillah from Kikitography. Not only did I learn a lot, but also left the 2 days with loads of inspiration! The main goal for the workshop was, how to tell a wedding day story with photos and this is truly a huge passion for me. I really think it is amazing how one can develop an eye to capture a message through a photograph. A true art. One of the highlights was the Jungle Wedding inspired styled shoot! This was so unique and I have never had a chance before the capture something like this. Anzel from White Kite Studio designed the stationary and Judy from Metliefde blomme did the flower arrangements. I really loved the way Skillie and Tehillah approached the decor shots. I will describe their approach as a mixture of structure and creativity. :-) When those two words marry, you have a brilliant outcome.
My overall observation of the workshop (and I think the most inspiring) was how true Skillie and Tehillah stay true to themselves. I love how authentic they are. I truly believe with their passion and influence they can make the world a better place. I would like to thank them for their time, effort and willingness to share. I hope that their path ahead will be blessed. Oh !! And did I mention, they have the cutest little baby girl named Malkah! I wish I took a photo of this baby girl with the laughing eyes.
Here are a couple of photos from the styled shoot.
